The West Hempstead Civic Association was founded in 1995 to start a revitalization campaign in our community. With the help of the Executive Board and other volunteers, many improvements have been made and, perhaps more importantly, destructive initiatives have been stopped. Today we have the support of over 800 member households and businesses. We always are looking for active members who help our community. We need people to serve on committees and we need to hear from everyone about what you would like to see improved in West Hempstead. WHCA "News & Views" - The West Hempstead Civic Association publishes it's News & Views for all residents and businesses within the 11552 area code approximately 3 -4 times per year. If you did not receive an issue or would like a back issue, please contact Rosalie Norton and she will make sure to send you one. News & Views also displays advertisements from local businesses.
